Flores Named Diverse Growth Segments Manager

August 7, 2007 – Ixiim Flores, Merchant Card Senior Sales Manager, has been named Diverse Growth Segments Manager reporting directly to Regional Sales Manager Rubylyn Blakely. In her new role, Flores will be responsible for the Region’s Diverse Growth Segments initiatives which include driving the region’s DGS strategies and alignment on ethnic markets, Lesbian/ Gay/ Bisexual/ Transgender (LGBT), Women and new immigrants segments. She will help to develop segment-specific annual business and marketing plans while helping to drive consumer and small business bank household growth.

Flores has held several positions of increasing responsibilities within Wells Fargo. Joining Wells Fargo in 1997, Flores began her career as a Personal Banking Officer in Gilroy and in 1998 was promoted to Assistant Manager. From 2000-2004 she held various positions such as Sales Executive, Market Area Manager and Sales Integration & Market Development Manager. In 2004, she became a Market Sales Manager for Merchant Card for the Northern and Central California Regions. Most recently, she was the Senior Sales Manager for Wells Fargo Merchant Card Services.

Flores is a new board member of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She is an active member of National Latina Business Women Association and a member of the Wells Fargo Corporate Small Business Latino Strategic Advisory Board. She is one of the founders of the Wells Fargo Merchant Payment Services Diversity Council and a recent recipient of the Wells Fargo Merchant Services Community Leadership Award for 2006-2007.
